1. MARQUE and these terms
MARQUE is operated by Scarlet Margin LLC at themarqued.com. These terms govern use of MARQUE, including the DOYEN AI coach. Questions and support requests can be sent to madisonxalexandra@gmail.com, using the subject “MARQUE support.” Please also read our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 to use MARQUE. If you have not reached the age of legal adulthood where you live, your parent or guardian must authorize your use and agree to these terms. A person purchasing a subscription or consultation must be legally able to enter into the purchase and authorized to use the payment method.
2. Coaching and your responsibility
DOYEN is designed to ask questions and guide your thinking and revision, not write your essay for you. AI responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. Review all output and verify school requirements, application rules, and deadlines independently.
You remain responsible for your essays, originality, applications, and compliance with each school's rules concerning AI assistance. MARQUE does not submit applications or guarantee admission, scholarships, grades, or any other outcome.
MARQUE is not a medical, mental-health, emergency, or legal service. Messages and flags are not continuously reviewed by a person. Seek appropriate professional or emergency assistance when needed.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in methods, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. Submit only content you are entitled to use and share.
Do not impersonate others, harass people, submit unlawful content, introduce malicious software, access another person's records without permission, bypass security controls, or attempt to extract confidential coaching instructions. Do not upload unnecessary private information about other people.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security risk, or a legal requirement. You may contact support to ask for review of a restriction. Applicable rights concerning paid services and access to your information remain in effect.
4. Your work and our materials
You retain your rights in the essays, drafts, and other content you submit. You give MARQUE permission to store, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to provide the service, including through the providers described in our Privacy Policy. This permission does not transfer ownership of your work or give us permission to publish it in marketing.
MARQUE's branding, software, and confidential coaching materials belong to their respective owners. Your use of the service does not give you rights to copy or redistribute them beyond what applicable law permits. AI output may not be unique, and we do not guarantee that every output is eligible for copyright protection.
5. Prices and subscriptions
Prices are in US dollars:

Solo and Assist are recurring monthly subscriptions. When you authorize a subscription purchase, you authorize recurring charges at the price and frequency displayed at checkout until canceled. Any applicable taxes and the total charged must be shown before payment.
The features and human services included in your purchase are those expressly described in the offer presented to you before payment. A separately offered $75 consultation is an additional purchase and requires separate authorization. We will honor any human sessions expressly included in the plan you purchased; a separate consultation offer does not remove those benefits.
Stripe processes payments using the Scarlet Margin merchant account. Check your receipt for the merchant and billing details. Contact us about an unrecognized MARQUE charge.
We will disclose changes to recurring prices or material paid benefits before they apply and obtain further agreement where required by law.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can request cancellation through billing management in Settings or by emailing madisonxalexandra@gmail.com from the account's email address. Include enough information to identify your subscription, but do not send full card details. If online billing management is unavailable, email support.
Cancellation stops future renewals and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, with access continuing through that period. A cancellation request received before your next renewal will be treated as a request to stop that renewal. We will confirm the effective date. Deleting a sign-in account or simply stopping use does not itself cancel a subscription.
Contact support about refunds, mistaken purchases, duplicate charges, or a service that was not delivered as described. We review requests based on the circumstances and applicable law. Cancellation does not automatically refund a past billing period. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory refund, withdrawal, or other consumer rights.
7. Optional human consultations
Consultations are subject to availability and are scheduled through the booking service made available to you. A session is booked when you receive a booking confirmation; payment alone does not reserve a specific time.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, use the booking confirmation or contact support as soon as possible. If you cannot find a suitable time after purchasing, contact us to arrange an alternative or request a refund for the unused session. If we cancel and cannot arrange a mutually acceptable replacement, we will refund the undelivered session.
Any additional cancellation deadline, late-arrival rule, or no-show charge must be disclosed before the relevant purchase or booking; these terms do not impose an undisclosed penalty. Do not record or transcribe a consultation without the participants' permission and any consent required by law.
8. Availability and outside services
MARQUE may be interrupted by maintenance, provider outages, or other problems. Keep your own copies of important work and do not rely on uninterrupted availability near an application deadline.
Authentication, AI processing, billing, email, scheduling, and conferencing involve third-party services. Their terms may also apply to your interactions with them. A MARQUE purchase does not automatically include services on the separate Scarlet Margin practice platform.
We may change features, subject to required notice and applicable remedies for material changes to paid services.
9. Problems and disputes
We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI output, uninterrupted service, or any admissions outcome. These terms do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, or impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
Contact madisonxalexandra@gmail.com if a problem arises so we can try to resolve it. You retain any right available under applicable law to seek assistance from a regulator or bring a claim in a competent court.
10. Updates and contact
We may update these terms and will identify the updated version on the website. We will provide notice and obtain additional agreement when required by law. Material changes to an existing paid agreement will not apply retroactively without a lawful basis or your agreement.
